An Inclusive Village for the Marginalized

Nestled in the heart of Amravati, Maharashtra, Sanjhagram is a groundbreaking initiative by Samarpan Pratishthan. We are creating a self-sustaining, inclusive village for individuals who have been left behind—abandoned elderly, destitute women, orphans aged 18+, victims of domestic violence, rape survivors, acid attack survivors, and specially-abled individuals.

With over 15 years of service, Samarpan Pratishthan has been a beacon of hope, providing shelter, rehabilitation, and opportunities for thousands of vulnerable individuals across Maharashtra.

Addressing Critical Needs

Abandoned Children and Youth
- 11 million children are abandoned in India every year.
- Youth above 18 face a lack of support, education, and direction.
Destitute Women and Abuse Survivors
- Over 88,000 cases of crimes against women were reported in 2020. Many survivors are left without shelter or rehabilitation.
Elderly and Specially-Abled Individuals
- Millions of elderly are neglected or homeless.
- The specially-abled face discrimination, lack of care, and social exclusion.

Why Sanjhagram is Needed

India faces an alarming crisis of neglect and abandonment. Over 11 million children are abandoned annually, countless elderly live without care, and crimes against women—especially domestic violence—are rising. For specially-abled individuals, discrimination and lack of opportunities often deprive them of a dignified life. Sanjhagram addresses these pressing needs by creating an inclusive, sustainable community where everyone, regardless of their past, can live, grow, and thrive with dignity.
